When I first heard about the Synopsis on the internet about this book, I couldn’t wait to go home and log on to the amazon and find this book called 'We're not so Different', where I was quickly attached and fascinated with the theme, the pictures and the story, and I did what thousands of people have done; I downloaded the book, and like the rest, I read it cover-to-cover in a single sit.
Official Synopsis of the book: We’ve spent billions perhaps trillions searching for life on other planets. However, our meddling hasn’t gone unnoticed. It was once said always be nice to your neighbors. Sadly, we humans haven’t been so kind and Mars have had enough. After decades of probes the aliens are gearing up to declare war. But not all of Mars’ residents are happy with the idea. Meet plucky upstart Lois, who along with her son has volunteered to do a scouting mission on Earth. Their assessment will decide our future. So be on your best behavior. Expect twists, turns, legendary feats of strength and a surprise ending that shows we’re not so different after all. What you will find in this book: humor, intelligence, strong characters, genius story plotting, and most of all the mystery of human psychology, and the psychology of the aliens living on Mars. The rabbit hole will keep going deeper and deeper page by page. This is not your typical sci-fi book that starts off with something too complex and confusing to get your mind into as many science fiction books are, but this one wins that battle by its simplicity. The book starts out with a major bang, which is understandable by a romance lover or mystery lover. This book is like a movie written in words, as it can appeal to your sci-fi loving friend, you’re horror, mystery or romance-loving friend, because it’s a good story. Just like Fabian Grants' other books, especially The Great Eight Chase, the book captivates even a first-time reader and turns them into a book worm. The mystery lies in the history of our origins, but the mystery is right there in front of your eyes to be solved, that’s how this book works, as it takes twists and turns, but at the end; shocks even the most unpredictable plotlines. I honestly thought I was reading a script written by Steven Spielberg because Fabian Grant's writing style and descriptive method have that exact same feel. It shows the time, dedication and creativity poured into this little book which came out of nowhere. If you're a fan of Sci-Fi novels, then you’ll love "We're not so Different" by Fabian Grant. The book is full of action, emotions, and suspense that keeps the reader guessing what's going to happen next.
